Free every Sunday.
Run like KBC.
A live, fastest-fingers-first quiz for children across the country, curated fresh each week by Rajeev Poddar, and the launchpad that has carried KC children all the way to national television.
One free hour that children look forward to.
The Sunday Quiz is a live, national, inter-school quiz that is free for every child, whether or not their school is a KC partner. It runs every Sunday at 11 AM on Zoom, is played in real time on the KC quiz page, and is streamed on YouTube for anyone who cannot get a seat.
It works the way KBC does. Fastest fingers first, no lifelines, a fresh set of questions each week built from the biggest stories of the last seven days. Rajeev Poddar hosts, drawing on a library of 300+ quiz decks that between them cover nearly every major event of the last four years. Every quiz opens with a word cloud so each child is welcomed by name and school, and closes warm, never on a stumper.
Some weeks it opens with a familiar face, a commentator, a poet, a filmmaker. And for a handful of children, a Sunday morning here has been the first step to a national stage.
From a free quiz to a national stage.
We call it KC to KBC. It is not a slogan, it has actually happened.
Purav, on Amitabh's hot seat.
A Class 5 child from The Heritage School, Kolkata, who plays the Sunday Quiz, cleared every round of KBC Junior and sat opposite Amitabh Bachchan himself. The episode aired nationally on Sony TV.
He is not alone. Another Heritage child from the same free quiz reached the HP Smart Champs national finals, streamed on Jio Hotstar, and finished second in the country, taking home ₹5 Lakh and a set of laptops.

The Sunday we all sat down to breathe.

A live yoga session, before the questions.
On International Yoga Day, the quiz paused for something quieter. A yoga teacher joined Aditya live on Zoom and, for a few minutes, a few hundred children across the country stretched, folded and breathed together from their own rooms.
Then, calmer and sharper, they played.
Then came the Harry Potter Sunday.
Spells, houses, Quidditch, creatures and the whole wizarding world, turned into one inter-school quiz. Children logged in with Hogwarts backgrounds and house scarves, and the room has never been more electric. It is the one every child asks for by name.

Scan, join, fastest fingers first.
The whole room answers live on the KC quiz page while it runs on Zoom. No app, no fee, just a phone or a laptop.

One hour a week, a whole year of them.
Real moments from the live room, week after week, city after city.

For years, children have shown up
to learn, live, together.
Knowledge Capsules has run live quizzes since 2023, and every one leaves a paper trail: a live leaderboard, a recording, an attendance log. Here is what those records add up to.
Then it became a Sunday habit.
In 2025 the quiz found its rhythm: eleven o'clock, every Sunday morning, live and free. The Sunday Mega Quiz has run week after week ever since, and it is where the numbers above grew fastest.
Three independent proofs, for every quiz.
Numbers are easy to claim and hard to trust. Ours line up against records anyone can check.
The live leaderboard
Every quiz is scored live. Each child's score is recorded in real time, so participation is counted, never estimated.
The full recording
Every quiz is filmed and published. You can watch the room fill, question by question, and see the result.
The attendance log
The session's join log records who was present, by school. Eligibility and reach come from the same source.
Put together, these make each figure here auditable: name the quiz, and all three records exist.
The biggest single quizzes
One quiz, and how many distinct children joined it live. Unique names, counted from the leaderboards.
The competition runs deep
Across the Sunday Mega Quiz, the same young minds keep climbing the leaderboard. This record stays name-free. Here is the shape of the rivalry, and the schools behind it.
Winners come from private, government and Kendriya Vidyalaya schools alike. The leaderboard does not care where a child studies.
